Dale Armstrong
Tucson-based photographer, Dale Armstrong has been developing as a photographer for the last 40+ years. Originally a geologist/hydrogeologist Dale has used his photographic skills for documentary work that aligned with scientific investigations required during his career.
Dale’s evolution into artistic photography is a natural spinoff of detailed documentary photography. His work has progressed into macro, landscape, sports, wildlife, and street photography; seeing the world through the lens. Dale prefers black and white photography because it presents images without the incumbrances of color allowing the viewer to see details and forms first.
