Art Gallery in Historic Douglas, Arizona.
We Exhibit and Champion Creative People.
Years of renovation brought a 100-year-old building on the Arizona/Sonora border into the future. We show and promote local and international artists. Over 60 artists, including exhibitions of a local college class and a non-profit, bi-cultural group, have exhibited in the past two years.
Classic and modern printmaking, contemporary mixed media, and local ceramics are some of the works that locals and travelers enjoy. We provide a downtown modern space, personal service, online buying, and community engagement. Submissions and ideas for shows and events are always welcomed.

The Gallery
The gallery space is a single, rectangular, 16’ x 33’ room with 12’ high exposed rafters spanning the width. The walls are painted white. The north wall is interrupted by two large concrete columns. The west wall is the front, street side, and is sheathed in translucent polycarbonate panels which diffuse the bright Arizona sunlight and provide thermal insulation. The east wall is also sheathed in polycarbonate and separates the public and private areas. The floor is a neutral gray vinyl tile.
Lighting is provided by the exterior wall and door to the west and supplemented with two rows of track lighting for the long walls, and four, 2’ square, panel fixtures down the centerline. All lights are dimmable LED daylight balanced. There are numerous outlets on the long walls just above the baseboard, as well as at 12’ high on the rafters.
There are art rails on the long walls at 8’ above the floor, and the beams can be used to suspend installations. A seven-foot-deep porch at the front is available for seasonal displays and seating.
